Well, considering that the author Samantha Mercado is only 10 years-old, this book warrants consideration. It is, of course not on the level of Dr. Seuss, what is, but it is a worthy book indeed. Full of colorful illustrations and happy characters. I wish the author had extended it a bit longer, up to 20 perhaps. The real usefulness of this book is not only as a simple counting book for the very young, but as an example of what an older child might do. “If she can write a book, so can I!” It acts therefore as an inspiration to others. Very useful!
