Messy Room Monsters is such a fun book to read. My grandaughter was immediately attracted to the colorful cover and the idea of silly monsters who make messes. The author’s writing style is fun to read out loud. When I taught elementary school, I particularly enjoyed reading Dr. Suess books to my classes at storytime, so I appreciate this rhyming approach to the story. The illustrations grab the attention, and my grandaughter’s favorite was the Messy Music Monster with it’s long hair, sunglasses, and guitar. We had fun comparing the before and after illustrations of the bedroom and enjoyed counting the monsters we saw together in the room at the end. I would highly recommend Messy Room Monsters for children preschool through elementary school ages. Enjoy!

It was a cute little book. My three and five year olds enjoyed it. They went on to assign the monster roles to various members of our household based on their behaviors.
