An awesome book cover, great hand-drawn colored pictures, charming illustrations & proper font & writing style. A very professionally written children’s (preschool/elementary age) zoo adventure rhyming storybook. It was quite easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters, settings, etc. to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational presentation (mutual love for each other, zoo safety), zoo adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini-TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is an extremely easy rating of 5 stars.

I have purchased other books from this same author and my children and I have never been let down. I was excited to read this book because our family loves animals and each other! The book has rhyme and I was able to use these words for teaching my kindergartner. The rhyming words also made it easier for both children to read with me! In the book, the mother and daughter compare their love for each other to characteristics of animals at the zoo. This also made for another good discussion about comparing the animals. I am so excited for Caitlin Matter to put out another book; I will definitely buy from her again.
