Dypsie The Dysprosium Horn Unicorn

Dypsie’s Story

Dypsie The Dysprosium-Horned Unicorn From The Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns Book

In the land of legends and myths, the story of Dypsie the Dysprosium-horned unicorn is well-known. Many travelers from distant lands come to see her, but few have ever been able to catch a glimpse of her.

Dypsie was born into a family of metal horn unicorns, where she was immediately recognized as one of the most gifted and talented unicorns in the tribe. Her horn was unique, as it was made of dysprosium, a rare metal that gave her magical abilities beyond those of her peers.

As she grew older, Dypsie’s powers only grew stronger, and she quickly became known as one of the most powerful unicorns in all of Unimaise. Her magnetic powers allowed her to move objects with ease, while her enhanced spell strength made her charms and spells more potent than ever before. Dypsie is so coveted is her ability to be elusive and difficult to capture. Dypsie is a free spirit that cannot be tamed. She appears and disappears almost at will, using her magical abilities to slip in and out of situations with ease. She is hard to catch and can flash in and out of situations at will. Dypsie has the power to transport herself to different realms, and she is known for her speed and agility. She can move so quickly that few creatures can keep up with her, and even fewer can catch her. Dypsie has been known to outrun dragons and fairies alike. Her quick reflexes and ability to flash in and out of situations have saved her from danger many times. She is always on the lookout for danger and has a keen sense of survival.

Dypsie The Dysprosium-horned unicorn is one of the members of the tribe of metal horn unicorns from Unimaise. Her striking appearance is the first thing that catches the eye of the beholder. Her glittering, metal horn is made of Dysprosium, a rare metal that is only found deep within the earth’s crust. This metal is known for its magnetic properties, and as a result, Dypsie has the ability to manipulate magnetic fields and attract or repel metal objects with ease.

Dypsie’s personality is just as magnetic as her abilities. She is a social butterfly and loves spending time with her tribe members. Her friendly and outgoing nature makes her popular among the other unicorns. She is always the life of the party and can be counted on to bring a smile to everyone’s face.

In her free time, Dypsie likes to tinker with metal objects and experiment with different magnetic fields. She is always looking for ways to improve her abilities and expand her knowledge. She is determined to push boundaries and try new things, paving the way for future innovations amongst her tribe.

The Metal Horn Unicorns Make Science Magical

This periodic table reference page is brought to you by the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns book. They say, “No Metal – No Magic…and No Technology”.

Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns. They say, "No Metal No Magic...and No Technology". Written by Sybrina Durant with Illustrations By Pumudi Gardiyawasam.

In this unique alphabet book, members of the Metal Horn Unicorn Tribe present 26 Magical Elements of the Periodic Table in alphabetical order.  Each member of the tribe has a metal horn and hooves. They also have magical powers based on the properties of their metals.

Alumna starts out the book by introducing the very necessary metal, aluminum, on her element page. Dr. Zinko rounds out the alphabet by presenting facts and other fun information about the metal, zinc, on his element page.  Other members of the Metal Horn Tribe from Unimaise, plus some of their magical elemental friends, will give some great insight into the properties of 23 additional pure metals from the periodic table.

There is one special unicorn in the book whose horn and hooves are an alloy created by combining copper and zinc. Cornum, the Brass Horned unicorn will reveal some interesting things about that metal.

While not all elements in the Periodic Table are represented by letters of the alphabet, some in this book, are introduced by alternate designations.  For instance, Tungsten is also known as Wolfram so “W” is used as the entry for that alphabetical letter in this book.  The letter “W” is also used as the atomic symbol for tungsten in all periodic tables.

Each element page in this book contains terms that might not be completely familiar.  Refer to the definitions in the back of the book to get a clear understanding of each meaning.  There is also a fun unicorn themed Periodic Table at the back of the book.

The Metal Horn unicorns from Unimaise and their other techno-magical unicorn friends are the perfect group to introduce you to metals and other elements in the Periodic Table.  Hopefully the Magical Elements of this periodic table book will spark an interest in the magical and real world properties of all the metals and other elements known today.  You may be surprised at how prominently they feature in our every day lives.
