The “Learn To Tie A Tie With The Rabbit And The Fox” series of books are especially designed for parents and children to read together. The “Learn To Tie With The Rabbit and the Fox” story is available in English, Spanish and Tagalog. All other books in the series are English only. There is a Learn To Tie With The Rabbit and the Fox book for girls plus a Learn To Tie Guide for Older Guys; and there is a version especially created for Boys In The Wedding Party. When I first started writing my unicorn books, I had absolutely no clue as to how many unicorn books had already been published. There are literally thousands of them. Everything from picture books for the very young to extensive novels and even some that are a little to sexy for their covers. It made me realize how nearly futile it might be to throw another one (mine) into the mix. But I have always been more of a glass-half-full person rather than one who allows over-whelming opposition to crush me. I decided that if I couldn’t beat them I would join the crowd. Seeing all of those books inspired me to create my own online unicorn book store. It is categorized by Little Kid Books, Middle Kid Books, and Books for Teens, YA and Older Readers. There are still about a thousand books to browse through at Sybrina’s Unicorn Book Store even though I’ve limited my collection to a “heat” level of 3 or 4.

I am an Amazon Affiliate and Zazzle Associate so in addition to publishing books with words and pictures, I also publish these blank lined notebooks. They are part of the Unicorn Reader Unicorn Writer Products by Sybrina Publishing. Unicorn Reader Unicorn Writer Products were inspired by the characters (though they may not look like them in every case) in the Blue Unicorn’s Journey To Osm books. The characters were drawn by various artists but most of the final art is by the artist who runs CoSo Art Shop.

Help Yourself was written after I had self-published all of the books above plus many others for my family and friends.

You can produce, publish and promote your book on your own at absolutely no cost to you.  This instruction book will show you every step you need to take to do that by yourself.  As an author, you must “Help Yourself”. If you follow the instructions in this book, you will become an independently published author and you can immediately begin to promote your book to your sphere of influence and beyond.  Start now…Just Help Yourself. 

As I worked on this book, the words I wrote for a song a very long time ago have danced around in my brain again and again.   The lyrics were little pearls of wisdom that still apply today.  The title of the song is “Help Yourself”.

I can’t think of a more appropriate title for this book.  As an author, you must help yourself.  You will not only be the writer, but in most circumstances, you’ll have to format the book yourself.  You’ll have to publish it yourself and you will have to do all of the marketing and promotion by yourself, too.

A particular line of the lyrics has come back to me over and over, “No one can do…what you can do…for yourself”.  That is so true, but more appropriately, nobody WILL do for you what you will do for yourself.  Sadly, no one is going to care about your ideas as much as you do.  Even if someone takes enough interest in your book to help you along, it will still be up to you to get the message out (promote and market it).

You’ve got to believe in yourself.  You must believe, deeply that your book has value for others.  And you must work every day to that end. Click here to listen to the song for free. Please forgive the audio recording quality.

I have been a song writer for many years. I’ve been a singer, too, although I never gained any fame or fortune from it. Many of my songs were written as expressions of my feelings of what was happening in my life at the time and others were written for my books.
