Lauda The Lead Horned Unicorn

Lauda’s Story

Lauda The Lead-Horned Unicorn From The Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns Book

The metal-horned unicorns are a rare and special breed. They are born with a metal horn and their magical abilities are linked to the type of metal they possess. Lauda’s horn is made of lead, which is why she is able to melt metal with it. This ability has come in handy on many occasions, such as when a metal object is stuck or when a piece of machinery needs repairing.

Lauda is a gentle and kind-hearted unicorn who is always willing to lend a helping hoof. Her love for her fellow magical beings has driven her to create various potions that can help them in their time of need. She spends most of her time in her laboratory, experimenting and perfecting her formulas.

One of Lauda’s most famous potions is her insecticide. It is a potent formula that can kill even the toughest of pests. Many of her fellow unicorns have praised her for this invention, as it has helped keep their gardens and crops pest-free. Lauda’s insecticide is made from a mixture of herbs and roots, which she grows in her garden. The potion is easy to use and has been found to be very effective.

Some other lead-based potions she has created are capable of dissolving rust and other metal impurities. Lauda also has a talent for repairing and improving metal objects.

Lauda’s scientific approach led her to discover the unique properties of lead, which she then utilized to create these potions. The potions are non-toxic and safe for both unicorns and other animals. In addition, Lauda’s talent for repairing and improving metal objects has led her to invent several useful items. For example, she created a metal shield that is immune to magical attacks.

Lauda’s love for science and her inquisitive nature have led her to many adventure-filled expeditions, in search of new knowledge and experiences. In the early days on MarBryn, she was among a group of unicorns who went on an expedition to the Barricad Mountain range. The group discovered a special flower that has unique healing properties, which Lauda used to create a lead-based potion that helps rejuvenate an aging unicorn’s magical powers. Her lead-based potion soon became a popular commodity in Unimaise, with many elderly unicorns seeking its magic for a revitalizing effect.

Lauda is a magical unicorn who uses her scientific talent to create magical potions and inventions to better the lives of her community. Her adventurous side has taken her to new heights in search of new knowledge and experiences. She is a valuable member of Unimaise and a respected member of the larger unicorn community. Her kind grandmotherly demeanor and scientific prowess make her stand out in a world of magical creatures.

In the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns, readers are briefly introduced to Lauda, the Lead Horned Unicorn. Lauda is one of the metal horn unicorns featured in the Journey To Osm collection of books by Sybrina Durant.

The Metal Horn Unicorns Make Science Magical

This periodic table reference page is brought to you by the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns book. They say, “No Metal – No Magic…and No Technology”.

Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns. They say, "No Metal No Magic...and No Technology". Written by Sybrina Durant with Illustrations By Pumudi Gardiyawasam.

In this unique alphabet book, members of the Metal Horn Unicorn Tribe present 26 Magical Elements of the Periodic Table in alphabetical order.  Each member of the tribe has a metal horn and hooves. They also have magical powers based on the properties of their metals.

Alumna starts out the book by introducing the very necessary metal, aluminum, on her element page. Dr. Zinko rounds out the alphabet by presenting facts and other fun information about the metal, zinc, on his element page.  Other members of the Metal Horn Tribe from Unimaise, plus some of their magical elemental friends, will give some great insight into the properties of 23 additional pure metals from the periodic table.

There is one special unicorn in the book whose horn and hooves are an alloy created by combining copper and zinc. Cornum, the Brass Horned unicorn will reveal some interesting things about that metal.

While not all elements in the Periodic Table are represented by letters of the alphabet, some in this book, are introduced by alternate designations.  For instance, Tungsten is also known as Wolfram so “W” is used as the entry for that alphabetical letter in this book.  The letter “W” is also used as the atomic symbol for tungsten in all periodic tables.

Each element page in this book contains terms that might not be completely familiar.  Refer to the definitions in the back of the book to get a clear understanding of each meaning.  There is also a fun unicorn themed Periodic Table at the back of the book.

The Metal Horn unicorns from Unimaise and their other techno-magical unicorn friends are the perfect group to introduce you to metals and other elements in the Periodic Table.  Hopefully the Magical Elements of this periodic table book will spark an interest in the magical and real world properties of all the metals and other elements known today.  You may be surprised at how prominently they feature in our every day lives.
