Questa The Quick Silver (Mercury) Horn Unicorn

Questa’s Story

Questa The Unicorn With The Quick Silver (Mercury) Horn From The Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns Book

In the mystical land of Unimaise, among the magical metal horn tribe, there lived a pink unicorn named Questa. She was a proud member of the magical metal horn tribe, known for their unique abilities to manipulate metals. With her Quick Silver horn made of Mercury, she had the power to liquify any object and turn it into a reflective surface. Her silver mane and tail shone in the sunlight, making her a sight to behold.

Questa’s silver horn was made of the finest mercury, which gave her the power to transform any object into a mirrored surface. Her horn was highly sought after by many powerful beings, for its reflective properties made it the perfect tool for scrying and divination.

But there was a darker side to Questa’s powers, and many spoke of the madness that could take hold of those who spent too much time around her. Some said that her reflective powers could show a person their innermost desires and fears, driving them to the brink of insanity. Some whispered that her quicksilver horn held a darker power, one that could bend the wills of even the strongest beings while other said that spending too much time around her would drive one mad as a hatter.

Questa was a restless soul, always seeking adventure beyond the confines of her tribe’s territory. Questa spent much time trotting around the enchanted forests of Unimaise and as she passed, the trees seemed to bend and sway, as if dancing to the melody of her footsteps. Her quicksilver horn would glisten in the sunlight, casting a bright light that illuminated the forest, making everything around her feel alive.

Her powers were both a blessing and a curse. Though she could create beautiful mirrors out of any object, she also had to be careful not to accidentally turn things into liquid. Questa had once turned an entire pond into a giant mirror, which led to the local animals to have tosearch for another place to live where they could quench their thirst.

Despite the occasional mishap, Questa was always willing to use her powers for good. She loved nothing more than wandering the forest and helping those in need. Whether it was a lost animal or a wandering traveler, Questa was always there to offer her aid.

The Metal Horn Unicorns Make Science Magical

This periodic table reference page is brought to you by the Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns book. They say, “No Metal – No Magic…and No Technology”.

Magical Elements of the Periodic Table Presented Alphabetically By The Metal Horn Unicorns. They say, "No Metal No Magic...and No Technology". Written by Sybrina Durant with Illustrations By Pumudi Gardiyawasam.

In this unique alphabet book, members of the Metal Horn Unicorn Tribe present 26 Magical Elements of the Periodic Table in alphabetical order.  Each member of the tribe has a metal horn and hooves. They also have magical powers based on the properties of their metals.

Alumna starts out the book by introducing the very necessary metal, aluminum, on her element page. Dr. Zinko rounds out the alphabet by presenting facts and other fun information about the metal, zinc, on his element page.  Other members of the Metal Horn Tribe from Unimaise, plus some of their magical elemental friends, will give some great insight into the properties of 23 additional pure metals from the periodic table.

There is one special unicorn in the book whose horn and hooves are an alloy created by combining copper and zinc. Cornum, the Brass Horned unicorn will reveal some interesting things about that metal.

While not all elements in the Periodic Table are represented by letters of the alphabet, some in this book, are introduced by alternate designations.  For instance, Tungsten is also known as Wolfram so “W” is used as the entry for that alphabetical letter in this book.  The letter “W” is also used as the atomic symbol for tungsten in all periodic tables.

Each element page in this book contains terms that might not be completely familiar.  Refer to the definitions in the back of the book to get a clear understanding of each meaning.  There is also a fun unicorn themed Periodic Table at the back of the book.

The Metal Horn unicorns from Unimaise and their other techno-magical unicorn friends are the perfect group to introduce you to metals and other elements in the Periodic Table.  Hopefully the Magical Elements of this periodic table book will spark an interest in the magical and real world properties of all the metals and other elements known today.  You may be surprised at how prominently they feature in our every day lives.
