This book was a great read for my children. The book is about a boy and his blanket, Threads. The blanket was made by Michael’s grandmother and was made to keep him safe and warm. (his security blanket) When Michael goes on an adventure in his dream and is in any type of trouble he just calls for his blanket, Threads to save him. Threads can take the shape of anything, he appears as a submarine in Michael’s dream to help him from being eaten by a giant fish with huge teeth. The story was very creative and filled with excitement, throughout the story my children learned interesting facts about all types of fish and my son’s favorite, sharks. Pictures were very well done! I highly recommend this book to anyone who has children who love sharks and adventures!

What a great book for kids all ages! It has imagination, adventure, facts about marine life, and a positive message about handling bullies. It is not too long or too short, which makes it the perfect bedtime story. Definitely a book that will be in my normal rotation of bedtime stories for my 3 kids! Highly Recommend!

What I really like about this book, unlike a lot of other children’s books, is that the story is very original and really allows children to use their imaginations. What is also very impressive is that all the illustrations were done by the author completely freehand. You can tell that the author put a lot of love into this beautiful creation.
