M J – 5.0 out of 5 stars – Cute and very likeable characters
This book is so beautifully made. I love the pictures of the characters, wonderfully designed and nice colour scheme. The accompanying texts are funny and appealing to little readers. They will be encouraged to talk about different appearances, about fears and worries, about preferences and dislikes. A really interactive little book.
About The Author
I am a mum of two who is passionate about design and illustration. Watching my children grow up and interact with their friends, made me realise that it is important for children to understand and accept that everyone is different and that it’s okay to be yourself. This is how the idea of writing “Happy to be me” sprouted. It’s the first book I have published: a simple picture book with adorable animal characters described by funny and sometimes silly rhymes.
