My daughter has always been the quite, shy and timid sort who would quietly listen and often vanished into the background. She loved ponies but was frightened to ride. After trying a few stables we booked a trek at Coloured Cob Equestrian and haven’t looked back. Everyone listened to her, acknowledged her fears, supported and encouraged.
Then Elizabeth met Sara and she hasn’t looked back, she fell in love with the lovely pony with the big eyes and occasional grumpy face!
Sara gives her confidence and has helped her progress so much, we all love her.
Whilst she was at pony club one evening the story of Elizabeth and Sara came to mind and I started making notes. All parents face the challenge of their children being scared of something whether is be water, starting school, speaking in crowds to name a few. I have always told mine to try and find their brave. So here we are with my first little story from the “Finding your brave collection” about a little girl and the lovely pony who helped her find her brave.
