A heart rendering story that tears at your heart and makes you happy for what you have! A little girl that prays for everyone every night and just a pair of boots for herself! The illustrations were just adorable. The whole book has a wonderful message for everyone reading it and to be grateful and thankful for everything you possess!

Ali Stevenson 5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely sweet!
What a delightful little book! This poignant story of a poor little girl who finds exactly what she needs most will surely warm your heart. And there is a moral here. Most of us have far more than we really need. Share your good fortune with someone less well off. Oh, and the illustrations are simply adorable!

MiMi 5.0 out of 5 stars Great Real Life Experiences ! ! !
Choosing this rating was simple. All my grandchildren worry about the next new video games and the next new iPhone. In real life there is still basic needs that come first, like being safe and food. This reader “knows” what the story’s character is going through. Having experienced the same situations, makes you stronger not weaker. These children today would find the story’s experiences difficult to understand and impossible too comprehend. No food, poor clothing and shelter, but, no mobile, no internet, Oh No ! If you don’t have the first, you definitely don’t have the second. Very good relevent storyline, we have to remember that the storyline is relevent still. Remember the situation, of having less, is neither good nor bad, it just is.
