EXCERPT

The next day, they drove to the market. They parked their car and walked through a maze of small streets full of merchants. You could find almost anything and everything there. Finally, they arrived at the herbal store.

Jose Luis pointed to a Native American talking to a customer and said, “This is the guy. His name is Wapi”

After a couple of minutes, Wapi became free, and Jose Luis, Richard, and the whole gang approached. Richard told him about his dream and explained he could not see the ending. Richard also described the present time troubles and the possibility of a connection to the dream.

Wapi asked Richard to sit on a chair, close his eyes and concentrate on the last part of the dream he could not see beyond.

Richard, following Wapi’s suggestions, started visualizing the dream, and slowly, he fell into a deep sleep and was really dreaming. He reached the point where Kiki was shot several times by the gang leader and was left to die and the little girl to be burned alive.

After a few minutes, Richard opened his eyes and told everyone he saw an additional couple of seconds of the dream but not to the end. He explained that after Kiki was shot multiple times and was left dying, trying to save the little girl from burning alive, he lay down on his side, back to the fire with his knees bent, and placed the terrified little girl in between his knees and chest, away from the fire, whispering something in the little girl’s ear before taking his last breath.

“It’s interesting. I saw more of the dream, but only a couple of seconds more,” said Richard.

“You have to see your troubles solved in your mind first. When something becomes completely real in your mind, it will become real outside your mind. The universe will summon all that is necessary to accomplish your wish. If you do ayahuasca, you will see your dream to the end and may find solutions to your problems as well,” said Wapi.

“What is ayahuasca?” asked Richard. “It is a spiritual journey customary to the indigenous people of the Amazon. You drink a spiritual medicine, and with the help of an ayahuasca master, you pass to the other side while you are still alive. There is a shaman outside of Cusco, Peru, called Joel. You can visit him,” said Wapi, then opened a book and wrote the contact information on a piece of paper, handing it to Richard.

A note from the author

“The different episodes of this book were projected to me, like movie clips during meditation sessions. I was compelled to visit a Shaman retreat in Cusco, Peru, and experience Ayahuasca to complete the manuscript. I hope you enjoy the results, the story of Kiki Coto.” – Edward Avanessy
